1. Introduction

FastConvertTools operates the website fastconverttools.com ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our free file conversion tools.

2. Information We Collect

Files you upload: Processed for conversion and deleted within 1 hour. Never stored permanently and never accessed by humans for review.
Usage data: Basic server logs may record request metadata such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp for security and reliability.
Cookie data: FastConvertTools stores only essential preferences such as cookie consent and dark/light theme. Google Analytics and AdSense are not loaded on the current site.
Contact form messages: If you use the contact page, your name, email address, subject, and message are sent to Formspree so the message can be delivered to us.

We do not require account registration and do not collect passwords.

5. File Processing & Security

Uploaded files are processed via the CloudConvert API where applicable
Files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of conversion
All transfers use encrypted HTTPS connections
We do not access, read, or store the content of your files beyond automated processing

Some tools (e.g. image resize, WebP to JPG) run entirely in your browser and never upload files to our servers.

6. Advertising and Analytics

FastConvertTools does not currently load Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or other third-party advertising scripts. If advertising or analytics are added later, we will update this policy and load non-essential scripts only after consent where consent is legally required.

7. Service Providers

We use CloudConvert for some server-side file conversions and Formspree for contact form delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their service to us. Browser-only tools do not send your selected file to our server for conversion.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you may have the right to:

9. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
